The boxing fans in Göppingen will have another attractive boxing event on Tuesday November 13. Alongside the middleweight battle and WBA-Eliminator between Mariano Natalio Carrera of Argentinia and the well experienced and former world champion Javier Castillejo of Spain, who will face each other for the second time, the spotlight fighters Karolina Lukasik and Maurice Weber will also step into the ring in title bouts.

The unbeaten WIBF and GBU world champion Karolina Lukasik (8-0-0- (1)) will risk her belts against Yahaira Hernandez (9-1-0 (4)) of the Dominican Republic. Since the Warsaw born Lukasik joined spotlight boxing in March 2006 she has been in the passing lane. The 25 year old made her way up to the top and won her first world title in January 2007. She secured the WIBF belt in only her 6th pro fight. After her 8th fight she had already claimed three belts at the super welterweight division, additionally to the WIBF belt also the GBU and the interims WBA belt. She also won the WBC Eliminator to face the current champion Jisselle Salandy. Karolina Lukasik is on the way to become the overall champion with claiming more belts.

The winner of the middleweights Carrera (31-4-0 (22)) and Castillejo (61-7-0 (41)), who are both listed at #2 and #3 of the WBA rankings, will move up to the #1 spot. After the world title bout of Felix Sturm and Randy Griffin, who met in a thrilling battle for WBA belt on October 20, this bout will likely determine the new #1 WBA contender for world champion Felix Sturm.

In December 2006, Carrera challenged Castillejo back when Castillejo was WBA middleweight world champion, and won the title by eleventh round TKO. Carrera, however, failed a postfight doping test and the result was changed to a no-contest two months later with the title reverting back to Castillejo, who subsequently was dethroned by current champion Felix Sturm in April.

Spotlight fighter Maurice Weber (9-0-1 (3)) will have his first title fight when he faces Daniel Kaefer (8-2-2 (4)) in the German super welterweight championship.

This Eurofighter boxing event will also present the fights of spotlight boxing talents Marcel Meyerdiercks (1-0-0 (1)), Vladimir Tereshkin (3-0-0 (3)) and Magdalena „The Beast“ Dahlen (6-0-0 (3)) in seperate bouts.
