NABC Champion Mary McGee poses with One In A Million CEO Octavius James, Rusty the Railcat, and Former Heavyweight Champion of the World Ernie Terrell.

GARY, Ind., July 23, 2008 -- After being embedded in an intense training camp for her upcoming fight against Tonya Gallegos at the USS Steelyard on August 2nd, current Undefeated NABC lightweight champion Mary McGee will take some time out of her training to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and sing during the 7th inning stretch during the Railcats /Goldeneyes game this Friday July 25th 7 p.m. at the USS Steelyard.

The One In A Million Inc light welterweight is elated to have such a high honor bestowed upon her. The 21-year old Gary native has promised she will get the ball over the plate during the first pitch and mentioned that her rendition of the 7th inning stretch will be pleasing to the ears.

Mary McGee will not be singing at all on August 2nd against Tonya Gallegos (4-8, 2KOs), Instead, she will be looking to keep her undefeated record of (14-0, 8KOs) unblemished at the "Steelyard Brawl". Mary knows every time she steps inside the ropes her competition will be primed and ready to take her NABC Light Welterweight Championship away from her. McGee has predicted she will put on a show for all her legions of fans that have followed her since the beginning. At just 21 years of age, the Gary Roosevelt grad wants to continue to grow as a fighter and fight world-class competition.

Said One In A Million Inc. CEO Octavius James, "We want Mary to fight the best in the world. Throughout the course of the past several months, we offered a fight with Mary on August 2nd to many upper echelon female fighters. For some unknown reason, they did not want to fight the NABC Lightweight Champion. I give credit to Tonya Gallegos for stepping in and taking on a fight of this magnitude with Mary McGee. Both Mary and Tonya are extremely talented and fireworks will be in abundance on August 2nd at the USS Steelyard when these two get in the ring with one another. It's a fitting main event for our fifth anniversary show where we will be paying homage to the past and looking ahead to the future of One In A Million Boxing."

Before Mary steps inside the ring on August 2nd against Tonya Gallegos, be sure to catch her throwing out the ceremonial first pitch and singing the 7th inning stretch this Friday July 25th at the USS Steelyard when the Railcats host the Winnipeg Goldeneyes beginning at 7 p.m.
