LOS ANGELES, October 20, 2008 -- Santa Ana lightweight sensation Luis Ramos will be back in action this Friday night, October 24th to face Sadot Vazquez in a six round bout at the Doubletree Hotel in Ontario, California, it was announced this afternoon by manager Frank Espinoza.

The 19 year old Ramos, 7-0 (5KO’s), has quickly become the most talked about prospect in the crowded Southern California boxing scene. Just three weeks ago he thrilled the packed house at the Doubletree Hotel with a first round knockout of Puerto Rican veteran Celestino Rodriguez.

A native of Fort Worth, Texas , Vazquez brings a record of 3-2-1 (1KO) into the battle with Ramos.

Said Espinoza, “Luis has stayed in the gym over the last three weeks and is in outstanding shape. It’s a quick turnaround since his last bout but he’s very serious about his conditioning and preparation. He’s ready to put on another great performance for the terrific fans at the Doubletree.”

“Since turning professional one year ago, Luis has been very busy. This will be his eighth fight which is truly a testament to his hard work.”

On July 30th, Ramos made his broadcast debut with a devastating fifth round stoppage of Aaron Dominguez. The scheduled six rounder was broadcast on ESPN2’s Wednesday Night Fights from the Sycuan Resort and Casino in EL Cajon, California.
