Dime was an outstanding fighter with a solid punch; He was called "a clever two-handed fighter who can hit a very hard blow" (Philadelphia Item); During his career, Jimmy won the 130 Pound Championship of America; After retiring from the ring, he trained and managed boxers -Tony Ross, Patsy Brannigan, George Chip, Joe Chip and some others

Jimmy defeated such men as Billy Frazier, Jerry Marshall, Johnny Gorman, Jack Smith and Eddie Burns

Data from the pre-1900 and early 1900 years is often difficult to locate and verify - and much data missing from Dime's career; Hopefully, more bouts will be discovered in time; Any modifications or additions are welcome
